New BMW Diesel Options Head to U.S. Shores

For those who are not aware, BMW has had quite the experience bringing diesel to America in waves. Many years back, in 1983, the automaker first introduced its diesel offerings in a 5 Series model rated at 115 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque. While the chemistry between U.S. consumers and diesel didn't exactly ignite a fire within the American market at this time, the sparks would eventually start to fly.

BMW X3 Takes a Leap Towards Greater Efficiency

Back in 2004, BMW released the BMW X3 and with it, a set of luxury crossover standards from which the model would be defined. Now, the automaker has decided to add efficiency to comfort, class and agility with a fuel-efficient, TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine (N20) offering.
