A BIG “PHAT” HOLIDAY
Autohaus BMW sold over 26 cars in 2 weeks (10 of those were on their “Toys for Tots” Saturday). Clients came in and test drove either a BMW 5-series or 3-series loaner with savings on either, that could bank a customer up to $10,000. Many guests ended up dropping an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots program then driving a BMW off the Autohaus lot as their own holiday present. MINI of St. Louis did a similar charity partnership but had Santa Claus and PHAT, the local celebrity bulldog, that heads the St. Louis Bulldog Rescue & Adaption. Santa was talking up the gas per mileage savings and was overheard telling his elves that he was thinking of trading in his sleigh. MINI sold 8 cars on their partnered charity day with the 2010 MINI Cooper being the Holiday favorite. Many MINI drivers brought in Gingerbread houses as well as cash or other donations to help save the bulldogs’ lives. The word of mouth for both locations and events was PAW-INSPIRING.
