The event, officially coined BMW Drive for Team USA, invites prospective BMW drivers, such as yourself, the rare opportunity to get behind the wheel of a 3 Series (e.g., the 328i), 5 Series (e.g., 550 i xDrive) SUV, BMW 7-Series (e.g., the 750Li)... and even the 650i)6 Series Convertible.
How exactly does this benefit Team USA? Well, in addition to bringing consumers the ultimate fun driving experience and a chance to find their perfect car match, the event helps raise funds for the Team USA's athletic training. See, for every BMW you schedule to test drive at www.bmwusa.com/secured/content/forms/DriveTeamUSA.aspx, the Bavarian automaker will donate $10. Over time and test drives, this seemingly modest contribution will add up fast.
Scheduling your BMW test drives isn't the least bit complicated, either. Upon visiting the aforementioned link, you'll be prompted to submit an ID Code. If you don't have an ID code, simply click the "No ID Code" button, below. You'll then be prompted to provide required information, such as your name, address, phone number(s), email address, the BMW model you wish to take for a spin, and a time that works best with you. You will also be asked for your zip code so that you can select a participating BMW dealership. And, you don't have to fear for your privacy.
BMW vows not to sell any of the information you provide. The point isn't to inundate you with a bunch of junk mail you'll inevitably toss in the recycling bin....Rather, it's to let you experience BMW first hand while at the same time benefiting the Team USA.
