Well, many lucky athletes and athletic supporters are going to experience both. As the "Official Automotive Partner" of the hallowed games, BMW will provide a fleet of vehicles to transport the most important Olympic personal this summer.
Of course, for true BMW enthusiasts this bit of information isn't new. The automaker announced its partnership several months ago. What Autohaus BMW is really excited to tell you is that the first round of BMW VIP Olympic models just made its way to the Olympic Park. Decked out in colorful decals and Olympic livery, the initial fleet contains models of the BMW 520d and BMW 320d EfficientDynamics.
Over the next few months, these first models will be joined by plenty more in order to make up a full fleet comprised of BMW diesels, hybrids, electrics and even bicycles. To that end, Tim Abbott, Managing Director of BMW UK, notes, "We are extremely proud for our cars to be involved in the London 2012 Games and are excited about seeing them in full service this summer in these eye-catching designs."1
