BMW Helps Drivers Park Now

Autohaus BMW recognizes as well as anyone how difficult maneuvering the streets of St. Louis can be during rush hour. Not to mention, if you need to find a parking spot, that can often be quite the hassle as well.

We suppose it could be worse, we could live in San Francisco, where it's reported that there are 505,000 vehicles but only 448,000 available parking spaces at any given time. However, if we did live in San Fran. we would at least have access to a brand new program from BMW known as ParkNow.

BMW ParkNow, which is currently undergoing beta testing at 14 locations, offers drivers assistance locating an available parking spot. What's more, once they find a spot they are able to prepay using their cell phone or web connection and reserve the spot for an extended period of time. There is also an affiliated smartphone application that gives users directions to their assigned spots. As we mentioned, the testing is in its initial phases, but the program is anticipated to branch out to 100 additional locations in the near future and then other cities after that. Fingers crossed St. Louis is one.

And that's not the only innovative program BMW offers. A little over a year ago, the German automaker introduced BMW DriveNow which is a car rental program offering new BMW models to interested participants. And very recently, BMW has expanded its inventory to include 70 BMW ActiveE all-electric cars for hourly, eco-friendly rentals at eight locations, also in San Francisco.
