Engaging the emerging demographic of Gen Y consumers is at the forefront of every automaker's mind. But doing such is no easy feat. Why? For one, young professionals aren't as focused on owning a car as older generations were at their age. In today's world, it's easy to get around via public transportation...and considering ever-increasing gas prices, young consumers are doing just that.

That being said, many members of Generation Y are on the prowl for their very first automotive purchase. And an automaker need only be innovative and unique to capture their attention. Thankfully, BMW fits both those descriptions and has come up with an out-of-the-box solution. In order to engage younger consumers and thereby expand its audience, BMW is about to shrink.

Confused yet? Allow Autohaus BMW to explain. In order to appeal to Gen Y members that are more focused on efficiency, BMW is shrinking some of its vehicles in size. Now, don't worry. The automaker will still offer spacious new BMW autos as well. But company officials say a petite new BMW 1 Series model is on the way as well as an entirely new small-car offering.

At this point in time, Autohaus BMW can't say exactly how these new BMW autos will look. However, we invite you to stay tuned for more information as it comes. In the meantime, don't hesitate to stop by 3015 S. Hanley Rd Saint Louis, MO 63143-3613 and peruse our current selection of new BMW vehicles or speak with a member of our BMW Parts Department.
