Anyone who lives in an area that gets a lot of snow knows the importance of having a quality vehicle that can withstand the elements. And, as it turns out, Bavarian automaker, BMW knows this too. This notion is evidenced by a brand-new special edition X1 model BMW has created in conjunction with the well-known winter sports company, K2.
The auto, which is known as the BMW X1 Power Ride Edition is designed specifically for winter weather and for winter enthusiasts who want to enjoy some outdoor fun. Specifically, it features roof rails, additional storage space, a snowboard bag, secure roof box, all-weather floor mats and an all-wheel drive system as well.
And for that additional flair, the new model sports the BMW xLine package which includes an aluminum satin finish for the roof rails, interior leather trim, ambient lighting, door sill strips and special 18-inch alloy wheels.
And to top it all off, with every BMW X1 Power Ride Edition purchase, K2 has agreed to throw in an exclusive pair of top-of-the-line K2 LTD Power Ride skis.
And, while the X1 Power Ride Edition was certainly created with winter enthusiasts in mind, that doesn't mean that other outdoorsy and sporty individuals wouldn't enjoy it as well.
A concept version of the new model is anticipated to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, in November, with a production model appearing shortly after.
