Rivalry Begins Between BMW 4 Series and Audi A5
Sun Tzu famously wrote, "to know thy enemy is to know thyself." While we wouldn't say the BMW 4 Series Prototype and the Audi A5 are enemies, they certainly seem to be contesting for top coupe.
Having recently been spotted side-by-side, our prolific prototype and the four-ringed rival appear to be of similar size and design. However, since no video was captured when the BMW beast was unleashed on the race course, our bet is on our favorite German automaker fiercely, and gracefully, besting the competition.
We have to back up our stance, though. Fear not, dear reader; we have some thoughts for you.
From what we understand, the 4 Series Coupe may very well be carrying the same engine range as the BMW 3 Series. Expect turbocharged 4 - and 6-cylinder options but some even speculate that we could see a 440i model which would use a 3.0L turbo engine.
While this is all just rumor and theory, what we do know for sure is that when it eventually arrives at 3015 South Hanley Road in Saint Louis, MO 63143, no matter what's under the hood, you can expect the same power and agility from the 4 Series Coupe as you would from any of our other new BMW models.
