While we often focus on the latest and greatest new BMW models, it is important to look back on the legacy of past vehicles from the Bavarian automaker as they've played an important part in the brand's history. One such model that boasts this legacy is the BMW 8 Series, which was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1989 and quickly because the brand's flagship coupe.
Now the 8 Series is turning 25 years old, which BMW is celebrating by bringing 120 models to display in their Munich headquarters. Additionally, the automaker also released a video in which one proud owner is interviewed and shows off his own model.
Although the 8 Series was only produced until 1999, drivers can still get its essence within the BMW 6 Series. Did you ever own a sleek and powerful 8 Series reader?
