The Consumer Electronics Show is coming to an end today which means we get to reflect on the great technology we were able to enjoy. Some carmakers took the opportunity to showcase their cars of tomorrow which aren't actually available tomorrow. Or this year, for that matter. Unlike BMW.

The BMW i3 is an electric car that offers drivers the future right now. With the touch of a button, one couple was able to watch the i3 maneuver itself into a parking spot several feet away. One other couple got to wear a blindfold and drive around, letting the i3 put its collision detection to good use.

The people were stunned as the car repeatedly proved it could avoid a collision, not just in the front and back, but in the blind spots nobody could see. Do you think you could wear a blindfold and give full control to a car? What about letting it park the car for you?

Personally, we love the idea of having the ability to park just about anywhere and getting to say goodbye to the days of circling the block for a space. What about you?
