BMW’s fully electric i4 offers drivers a proprietary Live Cockpit Plus system that provides information, entertainment and access to web-based features like email right at their fingertips. The 14-inch touchscreen makes it easy to access favorite apps and playlists from the driver’s or front passenger’s seat. When drivers need to focus on the road, voice activated controls make it convenient to both drive and access entertainment options.
Drivers have a curved display giving real time information on traffic in addition to pertinent readings on tire pressure and engine systems. Remote access that includes concierge services and door lock control is available as part of the BMW ConnectedDrive package. Drivers can also use the accelerator as a brake pedal in the unique one-pedal system. Drivers can simply take their foot off the pedal and the vehicle will begin to slow, charging the battery as it does so.
