The new BMW X5 is a luxurious SUV that offers plenty of powerful engine option to tailor your ride to your unique driving style.
An inline-six engine, a plug-in hybrid option and a twin-turbocharged V8 design each offer distinct benefits. Ranging from 335 horsepower to 523 horsepower between the three engines offers a scope of power for highway performance, towing capability, eco-friendly responsibility and responsiveness. Each engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It can tow up to 7,000 pounds for carrying a trailer loaded with ATVs, a boat or personal watercraft for a weekend of fun. The cargo area provides 78 cubic feet of space with the seats lowered.
The X5 also provides superior handling with an adaptive suspension, enhanced steering and all-wheel drive for grip and changing weather conditions. An off-road mode optimizes traction control and hill descent, available in an optional package.
