Step on to the lot of Autohaus BMW at 3015 S. Hanley Rd Saint Louis, MO 63143-3613 around the end of 2012 and you just might find an innovative little SUV sitting next to our current new BMW lineup. Known as the "BMW X1," this fresh model is making its United States debut at the 2012 New York International Auto Show before moving to production for 2013.

It would be easy for BMW engineers to spit out a handful of diesel-related vehicle information soaked in complex automotive terms. After all, they are the experts. However, BMW knows that consumers aren't looking to push through convoluted explanations and complicated vernacular when searching for the best fuel alternative. You simply want to know how the technology will affect you.

Back in 2004, BMW released the BMW X3 and with it, a set of luxury crossover standards from which the model would be defined. Now, the automaker has decided to add efficiency to comfort, class and agility with a fuel-efficient, TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine (N20) offering.

BMW has found success with its 6 Series Convertible and Coupe for quite some time now. So much so, in fact, that the German automaker has decided to add on another 6 Series variant: the Gran Coupe. Created with the same luxury class style as its siblings, the 2013 6 Series Gran Coupe will come in the form of a four-door sedan.

Whether you love nothing more than hitting the slopes on a crisp winter day or are simply a lover of all things BMW, you're going to appreciate the latest BMW contest. Dubbed the BMW xDrive Cup, the contest gives skiers the chance to win prizes by doing what they love to do most...ski!

Here's how it all works. In order to enter into the prize pool, participants need only perform the following actions:

Despite skyrocketing gas prices and increase in earth-damaging vehicle emissions, many consumers still aren't convinced that electric mobility will become a staple in the future. BMW disagrees. That's why the automaker is putting extraordinary effort into the future of its electric vehicle offerings. Example number one: the BMW ActiveE.

Already a fan of BMW efficiency and best-in-class performance? If so, then you'll love what the crafty automaker has in store. Moving into a unique market, BMW will release the C600 and C650GT Maxi-Scooter models.

Whether you're a film connoisseur or not much of a movie-goer at all, Autohaus BMW recommends you check out the latest installment of Mission Impossible. Fourth in the series, MI 4: Ghost Protocol packs in all the classic punch delivered by its predecessors and boasts a seat-clenching performance by the one and only Tom Cruise. But that's not why we're pushing those in the Saint Louis area to buy a ticket. Instead, we'd like to highlight the film's true talent: four daring BMW models.

For quite some time, BMW has stood fists up, ready to pounce on any other luxury contender that enters the ring. Now, the world's largest upscale automaker is adding more weight to its throws with a rapidly growing hybrid lineup. More specifically, BMW is doubling its eco-friendly contributions by churning out mild to full hybrid variants of its top-selling 3- and 5-Series sedans.

As many know, weight is everything these days. Most of the technology we encounter on a daily basis has become lighter, therefore faster and smarter. Phones, television sets, music players, computers...the list goes on. But what the average consumer often glides over is the role of weight in considering a new vehicle. That's why Autohaus BMW would like to take a minute to relay some of the heavy changes BMW is employing to make new BMW models even lighter.
